STATE REPRESENTATIVE JUSTIN FLEMING ANNOUNCES RUN FOR RE-ELECTION TO PA HOUSE
HARRISBURG, Pa – State Representative Justin Fleming today announced that he will run for re-election to continue serving the 105th legislative district which consists of parts of Lower Paxton Twp., Penbrook Borough, and Susquehanna Twp. He represents constituents on the following legislative committees: Appropriations, Children & Youth, Environmental & Natural Resource Protection, Finance, Intergovernmental Affairs & Operations, and Local Government.

“Serving the residents of the district has been an incredible honor,” Fleming said. “Over the past three years, we’ve helped hundreds of constituents and passed key legislation to improve the lives of Pennsylvanians, however, more still needs to be done.”
Once again, the PA House has passed a number of bills supporting Fleming’s legislative priorities including raising the minimum wage, protecting the rights of workers to organize, enacting a Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) for retired teachers and state workers, and much more but divided government means these bills, and many others, have yet to be considered in the PA Senate.
In his short time in the General Assembly, Fleming has authored several bills which have been signed into law by Governor Josh Shapiro including laws that allow homeowners to repudiate restrictive deed covenants, a $10 million grant program for shopping mall redevelopment, and $10 million to boost structured literacy in schools enabling more children to read well.
Fleming will continue to focus on investing in public education – early learning in particular – healthcare affordability, supporting working families with an increased minimum wage (as well as paid sick and family leave) and protecting fundamental rights.
